A silly one to start the post.  Happiness is that first little flutter.  Then the joy of the kicking–knowing he/she is alive and moving.  Happiness is also the kick in your gut when you get the call for an adoption.  Knowing that a child somewhere is coming to you.  Happiness is the KNOWING  that motherhood is coming.  For:

Esther 4:14 Created for this Moment by Nicole Plymesser Nelson

In the Bible Esther is actually being called to do big things for her people.  To step out in faith, to basically birth a nation, through her courage.

But we all can take this verse and get a lot from it.  We are called.  God wants us to step out in faith, to birth a masterpiece life, to live with courage–to move forward–to keep it all in perspective–to love.

Isn’t that what parenting is?  Isn’t that what we should celebrate about mamas?  And dads!  It takes a village to raise a child.  It takes a community to raise a new Christian.  It takes all of us to bring love to our world.  It starts one person touching one other person at a time.  God created us for this moment and for this job as parents to all His babies!  He has chosen us!  What an amazing honor.  What a blessing.  What a kick of happiness should hit us in the gut.

Stop and think about where you are in this season, right now, right here.  Who are the babies God has entrusted you with?  Who is He calling you to parent?  to celebrate?  to love?  You were created for this moment.  Jesus will do great things through you, and through the people you impact.  No matter if it is one, or thousands.  The impact you make in this moment is what is important.

Perhaps, this is the moment for which you were created.  That is what should bring you that kick of happiness deep in your belly.

Go, Tell, and make disciples of all nations--spread the good news.
