Bear His Light

We can beacons of light, of Christ’s peace.

Not the peace that some religious people think–that only includes certain groups, faiths, theologies, colors.

But the kind of peace Christ called for.  That includes us ALL.

That treats each other with love and respect.  That does not condemn others, but educates and gives mercy.  That doesn’t yell and persecute–no matter what side you are on.  But that whispers even, and works in constancy.  It comes from the words spoken by Jesus, recorded in the gospels.

I painted this piece at the BEGINNING of summer.  Because this is not a new issue in our communities.  This is not a new idea.  It goes back to the fall of man, the ark and Noah, and all time. And we will never be completely exonerated from this problem here on earth.

It is the reason Christ CAME!  To remind us each and every one to be the light that God created us to be.  So that we can get as close to peace as we can here, but more importantly that we can experience true peace in Heaven ALL together as God intended.

Go, Tell, and make disciples of all nations--spread the good news.
