Ready for Spring already

IMG_0035

This is the artwork for March on the calendar I sold this winter.  I flipped the page this morning and it was exactly what I needed to see and hear.  I have been in bed, again, for the last two days, this time with a stomach virus.  My body just needs some constant sunshine and warm temperatures to get my immune system built back up!  I am ready for some big gorgeous sunrises over GREEN, not  mounds of white and slush.  I am ready to be able to go on walks again… it has just been too darn cold, and I am just not that dedicated, plus, I’ve been stupid sick this winter.

Yes, I am ready for spring.

And I am always ready to learn more of God’s wisdom.  I find my heart calling to Him more and more.  And He keeps calling me.  Our God is pretty darn persistent when He wants to be!  Every message I am running into, no matter what book, blog, whatever, is that I need to listen and follow His path.  I hope that means to just keep on keepin’ on, but who knows.

Nothing too deep today, but maybe you just needed reassured that someone else is in the same spot this March.  I pray our days are filled with sunshine.  Soon.

Go, Tell, and make disciples of all nations--spread the good news.

I am a long-time sufferer of SADS. At times especially in the depth of winter with long nights and short days with foggy funky weather it is absolutely depressing. There is a desire to hibernate. You can read up on it. Causes are not clear but my theories include strong hormonal interactions with light especially serotonin and melatonin.

Another thing to check is vitamin D. Consult a doctor and request a blood test for vitamin D3. I recently upped my vitamin D3 supplement dose to 10,000 units as my blood level is not very responsive to dosage. So called normal doses of 1000 to 2000 units did nothing for me. Good Luck and Blessings.

I probably should check my Vitamin D. I have tanned in the past, as much for the quiet and warm, but even two times a week this year has proved impossible while sick. For awhile I had to get B12 shots too. This is usually my hardest time of year, I think I am meant to live in the Carribbean not the Midwest! I will check on the supplements. Good luck to you too!
