It is YOUR task /Pastor Appreciation

It has been Pastor Appreciation Month.  Have you thanked yours lately?

It can be a pretty thankless job. It is a very demanding job.  And the reality is that, most of what we expect of our pastors….WE SHOULD BE DOING.

It is our task to thank them.

It is our task to minister to our community.

It is our task to be in God’s Word on our own.

God is leading us, God is strengthening us, He is with us–He is the one worthy of praise.

And we are blessed that God has gifted precious individuals with the ability to nurture and facilitate what God is doing in each of us.  God has blessed these called people with words to keep us focused.

I know that I have  been blessed by a lot of seriously awesome faithful leaders who accepted the call to lead God’s people.  Let’s deluge them with thanks and gratitude today!

Go, Tell, and make disciples of all nations--spread the good news.

Agree, priests ( I attend an Anglican church ) are at everyone’s beck and call and am sure this leads to much exhaustion even though it is their calling. Commenting on this art piece – I really enjoy the earthy, dark colours and think this is maybe one of my favourites that you have posted.
