9 Love must be completely sincere. Hate what is evil, hold on to what is good. 10 Love one another warmly as Christians, and be eager to show respect for one another. (GNT Bible Gateway)
So here is the tricky part to all this beauty stuff: we have to be sincere about it. For it to change us, for it to change our environment, to change the people around us we must MEAN it. It can’t be a joke. It can’t be something we forget to do.
Chapter 12 in Romans starts like this:
2 Do not conform yourselves to the standards of this world, but let God transform you inwardly by a complete change of your mind. Then you will be able to know the will of God—what is good and is pleasing to him and is perfect.
This whole perspective of beauty is Biblical. Boom! How awesome is that! He commands us to look at His creation with goggles for beauty and to love on it in gratitude for His good work.
I hope you are still looking–I hope you are seeing more beauty–or if you have always done this, I hope you are sharing it with others.
