Refresh

He who takes time to be refreshed himself, who then shares that refreshed attitude with others– who is peaceful and joyful–is sure a lot better to be around.  And when we are refreshed and relaxed and peaceful and joyful we are more generous, more loving–with ourselves and our resources.  And it becomes a cycle:  rest, be happy, be generous, get love in return.  Wash, rinse, repeat.

And even better…when God gets time to refresh us He is more generous with us as well.

Maybe I am just jealous of the kindergarteners at school who get out their towels and blankies everyday and rest for 20 minutes–but all I know is they are some of the happiest and most generous beings I know.  They have this figured out.  Now we just have to give adults permission to do the same.

Go, Tell, and make disciples of all nations--spread the good news.
